Coffee

• Learn to explain the differences between coffee origins, processing methods, and roast levels
• Visit at least 30 local coffee shops
• Get an espresso machine—the De'Longhi La Specialista Arte
• Describe my preferred coffee origins, roast levels, and brewing methods and write about them on my blog

Travel

• Travel abroad alone—Thailand 🇹🇭
• Travel abroad with friends—Australia 🇦🇺
• Travel through at least two countries as a backpacker
• Visit at least five countries I have never been to
• Set foot in Kyushu
• Climb Mount Aka, the highest peak of the Yatsugatake Mountains
• Reach the summit of Mount Fuji

Sports

• Have fun playing tennis with a French exchange student
• Run around Lake Suwa—16.5 km—in under 1 hour and 25 minutes at a pace of 5:09 per kilometer
• Take part in the Lake Suwa Marathon—a half marathon
• Buy a road bike and cycle all the way around Lake Suwa

Study

• Complete a hands-on Redux tutorial
• Complete one personal machine learning project outside Martono Lab
• Complete a hands-on Go tutorial and get some experience with Go
• Complete a hands-on Ruby tutorial and get some experience with Ruby
• Complete a hands-on Three.js tutorial
• Deploy a personal service on AWS using EC2, S3, or Lambda
• Build and release a personal project with Next.js

Make

• Enter and win a hackathon
• Take part in my sixth hackathon and build an application with a team
• Release an iOS application
• Release an iOS game
• Publish an open-source project on GitHub and either earn a Star or receive a Pull Request or Issue from someone else
• Create my own game assets and publish them on the Unity Asset Store

Career

• Gain plenty of development experience through internships
• Put into words what I have learned through working as a sole proprietor
• Define what matters most to me in my career as an engineer
